  1. Khajjiar

Also referred to as the mini Switzerland of India, Khajjiar is a picturesque hill station that is 16 km away from Dalhousie. With a tiny plateau and a lake of fresh water, Khajjar is one of the most popular spots for tourists in this town. At the foot of the Dhauladhar range of the Western Himalayas, Khajjar is a unique combination of three biomes- Lake, Pasture, and Forests.

Positioned in an immense green landscape and bounded by coniferous cedar trees, Khajjar Lake presents a spectacular view to the visitors. Khajjar possesses several entertaining activities for its visitors, including Paragliding, Zorbing, and horse riding.

A difficult 14 km walk takes you into the grassy plains of deodar and pine forests and treats you to stunning vistas in between. It features a 12th-century-old Khajji Naga Temple - with some old snake idols and paintings of the Mahabharata battle.

Chamba - is close to Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh - is an old town renowned for - its rich cultural heritage - as well as beauty. The two big attractions here are the center of the valley which is owned by the Indian Air Force and a temple.   1. Sach Pass

Sach Pass is situated in Sach town, which is approximately 15 km from Killar, in the Chamba District. Based at around 14500 ft, this Pass interfaces the grand Pangi tribal valley with the district headquarters, Chamba. It is an exceptional trekking trail that leads to the Pangi Valley, which is the remotest and most enthralling valley. It is blessed with a picturesque landscape and rugged terrains, and also offers various options for trekking devotees.

The Sach Pass trekking path takes you through thick forests, snow-covered summits, and greenery-planted plantations. So, all you explorers and adventure lovers - come and trek through the tough Sach pass of Dalhousie.

  1. Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary

Embark on a daring trip - to the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary. It is situated in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. Visit this wonderful animal sanctuary - which is surrounded by fir and deodar forests. Situated among the oak and coniferous forests and within close proximity of the Ravi River - this destination draws a large number of adventurers and nature enthusiasts.

Panchpula is one of the scenic sites to see in Dalhousie. It is situated at about a distance of 3 km from Dalhousie and is one of the most visited tourist destinations. It is a mother stream that runs through numerous areas of Dalhousie, supplying water to many other bodies of water.

Panchpula, which originates from the north of Dayakund, is popular for its mesmeric vista and also holds historical significance. A Samadhi has been built as a tribute to Sardar Ajit Singh - a great revolutionary. When here, do not forget to savour their delectable local cuisine.
 

  1. Bharmour

Bharmour is a picturesque town encircled by the towering Pir Panjal range of hills situated 61 km - from Chamba and 102 km from Dalhousie - another prominent tourist spot of supreme significance in Himachal Pradesh. Bharmour is also known as the land of Shiva due to belief that lord Shiva stays on mountain Kailash which is situated in this region. 

Bharmour was also known as Brahmpur in the 6th century and was the capital of state Chamba for almost 400 years until AD 920 when a new capital was established at Chamba by Raja Sahil Varman. Bharmour is famous for its natural scenery, for Chaurasi temples and Manimahesh. 

Chaurasi Temples lie on a flat surface in the middle of Bharmour and are so called because of the 84 Siddhas, who are said to have meditated here more than thousand years ago.

  1. Pangi Valley

Pangi Valley lies in the Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh and is perked at an altitude of 11,000 Ft. If you believe that all the secrets of Himachal Pradesh have been found out and explored – think again! Pangi is gorgeous, gorgeous and the greatest secret in town. Although Chamba is not typically at the top of the list when folks are deciding on destinations in Himachal Pradesh – I am here to make you reconsider.   1. Spend a Picnic Day at Mini Switzerland of India, Khajjiar
