Day-wise Itinerary for Kinnaur and Lahaul Spiti Tour With Baralachala From Chandigarh

Day 1 : Transfer From Chandigarh To Narkanda (192 Kms, 6-7 Hrs)

Once you reach Chandigarh, our driver will pick you up from the Chandigarh railway station or the Chandigarh airport.
After which, our driver will take you to Narkanda via pictorial locales. On the way, you will witness the beauty of Shimla. Shimla is the most famous hill station of Himachal.
You can also ask the driver for snack breaks or relaxation breaks in between.
Interestingly, you can also halt at wonderful tourist attractions like Fagu, Theog, Matiana, and Narkanda Apple Orchards. Do take pictures at these locations.

Day 2 : Transfer From Narkanda To Sangla Via Sarahan (163 Kms, 7-8 Hrs)

It's day two, so soak in the beauty of the place.
Have your delicious breakfast and get ready to leave for Sangla, which is your next destination on the tour.
Our driver will take you to Sangla via Rampur. On the way, you can take a stopover at Hattu peak, where you can witness the splendid views of the Himalayas.
Besides, you can also visit the famous wooden-carved Goddess Kali temple on the top - seek divine blessings at the temple.

Day 3 : Local Sightseeing of Chitkul And Sangla Valley

Get up to the fascinating valley views of Sangla. Sangla is a wonderful village with scenic views. It is situated at the banks of the river Bhaspa.
The houses are built on a slope with gigantic Raldang Peaks towering behind.
It is time for a local tour today. Have your breakfast and get ready to explore the place.
Our driver will first take you to Kamru village, where you can visit the famous Kamru fort and temple dedicated to Kamaksha Devi.
Next, you can visit the famous Chitkul. Chitkul is the last village situated on the Indo-Tibetan border; it's a famous tourist attraction.
You are free to explore the local villages around and learn more about their culture.
Also, you can witness the beauty of the gigantic Kinner Kailash peak from these villages.
It is time to go back, but before that, have your dinner. Reach your hotel and retire for the day.

Day 4 : Sangla To Kalpa Local Sightseeing 2,759 metres / 9,048 feet (40 kms/ 2-3 hrs)

Today, you will head to a wonderful place - Kalpa.
Have your breakfast, and our driver will take you to your destination. On the way, you will stop at the most popular tourist attraction - Recongpeo. You can shop at the place and explore the market.
Ideally, you can also halt for lunch here (a choice of Tibetan or indian food). After which, our driver will take you to Kalpa village and the nearby Chini Village (know more about the locals’ culture).
These two villages are famous for their thick pine forests, apricots, and apple farms.
Then visit Suicide Point and Roghi village - both are popular tourist attractions in the region.

Most tourists visit the mountain to witness the beauty of sunrise, when the sunrays fall on the snow-capped peaks, emanating a crimson-yellow glow.
You can then visit Kalpa village, which is situated on the old indian-Tibet road.

Day 5 : Kalpa To Tabo Via Nako, Gue Monastery, 3,050 metres / 10010 feet (150 Kms / 9-10 hrs)

Today, you will leave for Tabo, which is another important destination on the tour. Have your breakfast, and our driver will take you to Tabo. On the way, you can take a stopover at Pooh and Nako.
You can have Tibetan food at Nako village. After lunch, our driver will take you to Gue village, which is also the last village on the Indo-Tibetan border.

Day 6 : Tabo To Kaza Via Dhankar Village 3,200 metres / 10,500 feet, (49 kms / 3 hrs)

On the way, you can visit the most popular Tabo monastery - seek blessings at the place, and you can also meditate for a while here.
En route, you can also take a stopover at Dhankar village, Dhankar monastery, and the fort, which are famous attractions of the region.

Day 7 : Sightseeing around Kaza (5-6 hrs)

It is day seven, almost halfway to your tour. Today, you will gain insight into the cultural heritage of Kaza and its surrounding areas.

Our driver will first take you to Langza Village, Chicham Bridge, and Komic Village (the Highest village). You can talk to locals at the place and explore it.

Day 8 : Kaza To Chandratal Lake Via Lossar And Kunzum Pass (160 Kms, 06-7 hrs)

Gear up and leave for Chandratal Lake by crossing Kunzum Pass, a day when you will witness the real beauty of Mother Nature.

On the way, you can witness the beauty of the CB Ranges Peaks.
On reaching the point, dwell in its beauty.

Day 9 : Chandratal Lake To Keylong Via Koksar, Sissu 2,050 metres / 6,726feet (130 kms /07-08 hrs)
