Day-wise Itinerary for Kinnaur Spiti Tour From Chandigarh

Day 1 : Chandigarh To Narkanda Local sightseeing (192 Kms, 6-7 Hrs)

On reaching Chandigarh railway station or Chandigarh airport, you will be greeted by our driver.
Our driver will then take you to your first destination - Narkanda. The journey from Chandigarh to Narkanda is truly captivating.
On the way to Narkanda, you can witness the beauty of Shimla.
Also, you can take a quick stopover at two famous tourist attractions - Pinjore Garden, known for its scenic beauty, and Timbertrail, known for its wonderful pictorial resorts.
You can ask the driver for picture breaks or relaxation breaks in between.
On the way, you will witness some more tourist attractions like - Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda Apple orchards, and Hattu peak (one of the highest peaks in the region).
From the peak, you can witness the beauty of the central Himalayan region.

Day 2 : Transfer From Narkanda To Sangla (163 kms, 7-8 hrs)

The journey from Narkanda to Sangla will be captivating with mighty views of the Himalayan belt.

Day 3 : Local Sightseeing of Chitkul And Sangla Valley

Our driver will take you to visit Sangla. Sangla is a wonderful village with scenic views.
It is situated on the banks of the river Bhaspa. You can then visit Kamru village and Kamru fort.
You can also visit the temple dedicated to Kamaksha Devi near the fort. Seek blessings at the temple.
Our driver will then take you to Chitkul, which is the most famous tourist attraction and the last village on the Indo-Tibet border.

Day 4 : Sangla/Chitkul to Kalpa Local Sightseeing 2,759 meters / 9,048 feet (40 kms/ 2-3 hrs)

Today, you will leave for an offbeat place - Kalpa. Have your breakfast and get ready for the drive.
On the way to Kalpa, you can take a stopover at Reckong Peo. It is famous for its buzzing vibe and shops. You can shop for souvenirs at the place.
Ideally, you can have lunch here with a choice of Tibetan dishes.
After your lunch, you will leave for the Kalpa village and the nearby Roghi village.
The beauty of these villages is captivating, and they are famous for thick pine forests and apricots & apples.
However, you can witness the wonder of Mt. Kinner Kailash from the place. The best views are in the morning, when the sun rays touch the snow-capped peaks, which look like golden light.

Day 5 : Kalpa to Kaza via Nako Lake, Tabo, Gue Monastery (210 Km / 09- 10 hrs)

It is the day to visit the most popular place in the region - Kaza.

On the way to Kaza, you can stop at some popular tourist attractions like Spillow, Pooh, and Nako.
Also, you can visit Nako Lake and have lunch near the lake - it will be a wholesome experience.
Continue your journey towards Kaza. On the way, you can visit Gue village, which is also the last village on the Indo-Tibet border.
Next, you will visit attractions like the Gue Monastery, Dhankar Village, and Dhankar Monastery.

Here, you can also visit the naturally preserved mummy of a Buddhist monk, which is about 600 years old.

Day 6 : Sightseeing around Kaza

After breakfast, our driver will take you to Langza Village (Fossil Village), Chicham Bridge, and Komic Village (the Highest village in the region). You can explore the nearby places to know more.

Day 7 : Kaza To Chandratal Lake Via Lossar And Kunzum Pass (160 Kms, 06-07 hrs)

Have your breakfast, and our driver will take you to the famous Chandratal Lake.
Our driver will take you to Chandratal Lake via Kunzum Pass.

Day 8 : Chandratal Lake To Manali via Atal Tunnel, Sissu, Solang Valley 2,050 metres / 6,726 feet (130kms /7
